Ordinary Time, 29th Sunday. What can I get from following Jesus? Instead Jesus asks: Are you willing to join me in giving, join me in serving? Then you have to do it without looking for a reward. I gave by visiting the nursing home for Masses with Anointing of the Sick and I got so much back in return. Marriage works when both people are willing to give and serve without expecting a reward. We are not the rulers, we are the servants. And when we serve, we become like God.
