The Nativity of the Lord (Christmas) • Jesus looks like you and me but he is God's precious child. As Joseph gazed on the child he realized that he was too was God's precious child. The shepherds and the wise men were changed when they realized they were God's precious children. I hope as you gaze on the manger scene you will also realize, "I am God's precious child."

Point to Ponder: "Good morning, God! Thank you for being my Father. Thank you for loving me. I love you too!"
Point for Discussion: Talk to someone about how your life would look different if you lived every day as God's precious child.
Point of Action: Sing Away in a Manger with your family or a few friends:
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head. The stars in the sky looked down where he lay, The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.
The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes, But little Lord Jesus, no crying he makes. I love thee, Lord Jesus! look down from the sky, And stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.
Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask thee to stay Close by me forever, and love me I pray. Bless all the dear children in thy tender care, And take us to heaven to live with thee there.
